So glad you are here! My name is Cheryl Tyson and I am a wife, mom, and grammy who has spent a lifetime cooking, baking and entertaining for those I love!
As a retired special education high school English teacher, I created this blog because I love teaching others about things I am passionate about! I am excited to share my tips and tricks about everything from how to set up your kitchen, how to make easy week night recipes, how to beautifully set a table and most importantly entertain with joy and ease!
When I was a young woman with her first home, I had soooo much to learn! I wish I knew then what I know now! I would have loved to had a blog like this to get me started in those early years as a new wife and mom!
I remember setting up my first home after getting married. As I unpacked gifts from my registry, I received beautiful china, crystal stemware, towels, sheets, and very little practical equipment with which to cook! I had no idea what I was doing when I put together my registry!
